Ongoing from March 2026. Individuals may join the Walking Challenge at any time.
Walking Challenge Period for Workplace Organisations: 1 July 2026 – 30 September 2026 ( see below "Workplace Organisation Walking Challenge“ )
Interested individuals can participate through the "e+Life" App.
Participants are required to use a step counting mobile application to record step count and synchronise the record to "e+Life" App:
- Apple Health for iOS;
- Google Health Connect and Google Fit for Android;
- Huawei Health for Huawei EMUI
Participants can complete various missions in the Walking Challenge to earn Health Coins on the "e+Life" App.
- Log in to the "e+Life" App to synchronise step record daily
- Walk 10,000 Steps a Day
- Become a member of the District Health Centre
- Weight Management
- Complete surveys
- Participate in Challenge Route
Health Coins can be used to redeem gifts (including Lazy Lion and Active Lion gifts) as well as virtual gifts of the Walking Challenge on the "e+Life" App.
Gifts* could be redeemed from designated locations including District Health Centres and DHC Expresses tentatively in October 2026. Details will be announced in due course.
*Redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
Workplace Organisation Walking Challenge
Organisation Enrolment Period: 4 May 2026, 00:00 – 15 June 2026, 23:59
Challenge Period: 1 July 2026 – 30 September 2026
Upon successful enrolment, organisations will receive a confirmation email in late June, after which staff members can select their organisation in the “e+Life” App.
Organisation Enrolment Process
- Submit Enrolment FormEach organisation is required to designate a person in charge to submit the online form on or before 15 June 2026 to enrol in the challenge on behalf of the organisation.
- Inform Staff to Select OrganisationAfter successful enrolment, organisation’s person in charge will receive a confirmation email in late June. The organisation name will be listed in the “e+Life” App for staff to select. The organisation’s person in charge may notify staff to choose their organisation in the app.
Staff Participation Process
- Join the Individual Walking ChallengeStaff must first join the Individual Walking Challenge before they can select their respective organisations in the “e+Life” App. They need to download the “e+Life” App, log in with eHealth App, and select “Lazy Lion’s 10,000 Steps a Day” to participate in the individual challenge. Organisation registration will not automatically create eHealth accounts for staff or synchronise their step records.
- Select Organisation After successful organisation enrolment, staff members can select their organisations in the “e+Life” App.
- Log in Daily and Synchronise Step During the challenge period, staff members are required to log in to the "e+Life" App daily and synchronise their step records with the "e+Life" App, and their step counts will be attributed to the organisations they choose.
There are two Organisation Awards for the Workplace Organisation Walking Challenge:

Outstanding Overall Performance Award* ( Top 5 organisations )
- Organisations with the highest total step count accumulated by all participating staff during the Walking Challenge period

10,000 Steps Challenge Success Award** ( Top 5 organisations )
- Organisations with the highest percentage of participating staff who achieved “10,000 steps a day” ( i.e. an average of 10,000 steps per day ) during the Walking Challenge period
If the total step counts of two organisations are the same, the organisation with a higher average step count per participating staff will win.
Organisations are required to have at least 5 participating staff in the Walking Challenge in order to strive for the organisation awards. If the percentages of participating staff achieving 10,000 steps a day of two organisations are the same, the organisation with a higher number of participating staff will win.
